Controlled Simultaneous Use of Methods
PeakAvenue GmbH was formed by the merger of our internationally renowned companies PLATO GmbH and iqs Software GmbH. PeakAvenue stands for our trend-setting vision of the digital future: The development of an integrated, web-based engineering and quality management system across the entire product life cycle.
The merger also unites PLATO's designated engineering platform e1ns with Quality Center, the CAQ system from iqs, and represents the complete product development process along the Digital Thread.
iqs
iqs was founded in 1995 and is located in Bühl (Baden, Germany). The iqs CAQ system includes a wide range of modules covering various aspects of quality management, including FMEA, APQP, manufacturability assessment, gauge management, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and complaint and audit management.
The distinct competitive advantage of iqs that customers value is the seamless integration and data continuity across all modules offered, including interactive drawing.
In the iqs CAQ system, the quality control loop principle enables effective error prevention: All complaints and deviations that occur during a product life cycle, as well as their analysis, automatically also lead to an adjustment of the corresponding FMEA. There is an immediate feedback into planning, and with it, a quality control loop between complaint management and FMEA. In this way, all experiences from production are collected in the CAQ system and it thus becomes the company's knowledge repository.
The solutions are used in all industrial sectors, especially in the automotive and supplier industry. With a worldwide partner network, iqs is present in all important markets.
Reference customers include well-known brands such as Bosch, ZF, Continental, Hansgrohe and Stihl.
PLATO
PLATO, headquartered in Lübeck, Germany, is considered a technological leader in the field of FMEA software. The company offers a multi-tenant cloud platform with functionalities such as FMEA, Inspection & Control Plan, Functional Safety, Monitoring and System Response (MSR), and Document Management. Companies using these solutions benefit from a sharp reduction in costs associated with callbacks, resulting in significant savings in every case.
PLATO e1ns not only promotes model-based collaboration (Model-based Systems Engineering) of technical disciplines within development and the entire company network, but also enables learning from experience through the unique Lessons Learned process - to become better and avoid repeat errors during a project with new editions and variants of a product.
In addition to its European customer base, PLATO has already established a strong presence in North America. The customer portfolio includes companies of all sizes, from startups to global corporations in the automotive industry, medical technology, electrical industry, mechanical engineering and many more. PLATO operates at four national locations as well as branch offices in the USA and a broad international partner network worldwide. The customer base includes MAHLE, Johnson Matthey, Lumileds, Porsche, DAF Trucks, Knorr-Bremse, Tenneco Automotive, Infineon, Dräger.
The best of both worlds
Both existing and new customers benefit equally from the ongoing development of the acquired modules. The networking of the individual solutions opens up new areas of application in engineering and quality management. They receive modern software tools from a single source that make a significant contribution to optimizing the entire product life cycle along the Digital Thread.
