PeakAvenue brings the sample approval process and FTA to the cloud
PeakAvenue is expanding its eQMS platform to include key components of the product development process: the entire production part approval process (PPAP) and fault tree analysis (FTA). In doing so, the company is transferring proven methods from quality and reliability into a modern cloud-native architecture and unlocking new potential for efficiency and transparency.
For the PPAP module, the proven concepts of the iqs ISIR (Initial Sample Inspection Report) were adopted and further developed functionally: processes have a regulated lifecycle with clearly defined status transitions, versioning, and workflow-based approvals. Automated notifications for status changes, configurable required fields, and a customizable, rights-based folder structure ensure transparency and security. An integrated version comparison feature allows changes between versions to be tracked transparently and test results to be compared directly with updated specifications.
A key feature is the mapping of sample phases: Depending on the phase, mandatory documents and requirements can be defined and gradually expanded. PPAP helps companies map the entire sample approval process efficiently, transparently, and in an audit-proof manner - from the initial coordination to the final delivery approval.
